La Galiote Company Profile

La Galiote is a bag manufacturing company in South Africa, founded in 1985, based in Parow Beaconvale in the Western Cape. We currently employ 60 staff. We are Founder Members of "Proudly South African" and we support local industry. We have excellent relationships with the Trade Union and other labour organisations. Many of the staff have been working at La Galiote for more than 20 years. We are BEE compliant.

Being a Founder Member of Proudly South African means that we do not import any finished or semi-finished goods for our manufactured bags. Only basic materials not manufactured in South Africa such as nylons are bought from local importers.

We manufacture a wide range of bags from Promotional Bags, Sports Bags, Golf Bags, School Bags, Laptop Bags, Folio Bags, Conference Bags, Cosmetic Bags, Travel Bags, Wine Carriers, Cooler Bags, Designer Bags and Backpacks in Nylon, PVC, Denim, Bull Denim, Canvas, Imitation Leather, with or without leather trim. We can design bags according to your specific needs and requirements and we have our own designs to choose from as well.


La Galiote has a wide corporate client base, for example we manufacture promotional bags for Adidas, Sanlam, Old Mutual, AMC Classic, Truworths Man, as well as many other Corporate Clients, Schools, Sporting Clubs, Wine Farms and Promotional / Event Management Companies.

We have a showroom at our factory where we stock a wide range of samples.

Delivery times are normally 3 - 4 weeks after receipt of order.
